Too often the today's media-driven culture brings attention, influence and prominence to the loudest, more extreme and uber outrageous voices.  We all know it's not exactly the way we want it but we're powerless to change it.  Here's your chance to highlight people who are distinguished by their wisdom, their civility, their outrageous acts of statesmanship.  These can be historical figures, current well-known people or an individual who quietly works constructively in obscurity. 

We'll also add in people who've had something to do with The Village Square so you that you'll know who we are. Finally, panelists at Village Square events will be in our people database so you know who's who. (Despite the associated movie pic, we're actually quite nice to our panelists.)

Only people we don't want you to include here are:

1. Founding Fathers (we've given them their own section, they earned it) and
2. Shrill people (way too many people we hear from).
