We've left some boxes there in case you want them. You probably won't want to use all of the boxes, so simply delete the set of two bracketed box titles that demarcate the beginning and the end of each box you no longer want. For example, removing everything between and including

{page_rss} and {page_rss}

will delete the RSS Feed Box and its contents. Don't worry, you can add the boxes back in later (directions in left side bar "How to").

Keep the content of sidebar boxes short and to the point.

DO NOT remove the "div" tags at the beginning and end of the sidebar boxes unless you don't want any boxes in the right sidebar as these tags create the column.

As you write, keep in mind the goal to remain: 1. Civil (we really mean this), 2. Factual (bad facts yield bad decisions and bad results) and 3. Useful (include the concise and practical info needed to understand the topic.)
